Meth labs can be created just about anywhere; small labs to cook the drug can be set up on tables in kitchens, countertops and garages.
Similar to cocaine, meth is a powerful "upper" that produces alertness and elation, along with a variety of adverse reactions.
Paranoia is a common side effect of meth use. A person who is high on meth may believe that people are watching their every move or that someone is out to get them.
The most obvious sign of meth use is rapid weight loss. The amount of weight that a person loses can vary from person to person but on average a person can lose 8 to 10 pounds a month for several months in a row.
A meth user who is tweaking may not have slept in three to fifteen days and is often irritable and paranoid. Use extreme caution if the tweaker is also using alcohol or other drugs as the danger may be intensified.
