When a meth user takes meth it causes the over-release of dopamine. As the user takes more and more meth their brain becomes depleted of dopamine. They can no longer feel pleasure or motivation the way they did before meth use. In short, it makes the meth user not care about anything but taking the drug.
When a meth user binges on meth they barely sleep or eat at which point they become too tired to continue or have no meth left and begin to "crash."
