The dopamine stimulates brain cells and at the same time, enhancing body actions and mood. Other body activities that can be affected with the use of crystal meth are appetite suppressant, heart rate, body temperature and response associated with alertness.
Dental patients who exhibit symptoms of "meth mouth" are more likely to be injection drug users, according to a new study.
Using meth can cause many of the same physical effects as other stimulants such as: increased physical activity, increased wakefulness, increased respiration, decreased appetite, rapid heart rate, irregular heartbeat, increased blood pressure and hyperthermia.
