Meth strongly activates the users reward system in their brain. The drug works by triggering the neurotransmitter dopamine.
Users take meth in a variety of ways; they smoke, snort, inject or swallow the drug.

Crystal meth increases the levels of two neurotransmitters, norepinephrine and dopamine, resulting in a high that numbs your senses and causes hyperactivity. Meth also increases stamina allowing users to party for long periods of time.
